Design the Latest and Greatest

Since the opening of the International Battleground, more and more warships have been taking up advanced positions in all corners of the universe and skirmishes between fledgling and well established Empires have been growing. Consequently, warship design has been growing in importance as each Empire seeks advantages over others. Equipping ships with the proper modules not only saves resource consumption but also plays a big part in how long a fleet may last in the unforgiving emptiness of space. Which designs are the most practical, the most devastating, the fastest? We want answers to all these questions and more, so step forward and show us what you know.

Registration - May 15th until May 20th EDT (GMT-4)
Player Poll - May 21st until May 24th EDT (GMT-4)

Event Content
To participate in this event, simply sign up by replying to the event thread and submit your favorite blueprint of an offensive ship, defensive ship, decoy/anti-decoy and also explain what inspired you to design them in your unique way. From May 21st to May 24th, a player poll will be held to select the most popular offensive ship blueprint, defensive ship blueprint, decoy/anti-decoy ship blueprint. The top 3 blueprints of each design type will then win different amounts of Karma. We will also draw 10 lucky players from among the voters, and reward them with 100 Karma each for participating.

Design Reason: Pure Tanking Build , Mostly all of the High Level Weapons Ignore Shields/Armor , Hence this build totally leaves out all of them, and focuses on Ship Defence Tech Modules for your main Defense.
- Disadvantage of build: Supply Hungry , Depots will be needed in the middle stack for the fleet.
- Advantage of build: Good Defence against all types of weapons. Does the job of Tanking pretty well.

Design Reason: Good Defence and AoE Damage sufficient to clear Decoys fast. Hence making this a Tanking Anti Decoy Ship.
Hydrogens and counter attack there to pick off the decoys fast.
Not a large number of weapons needed , as u'll have a few stacks of this just made to clear decoys.
-Disadvantage of Design: Lower overall Defence compared to previous pure tank build.
-Advantage of Design: Shields and Armor added to be able to Absorb some lower amounts of damage compared to previous Tank build. Less Supply Hungry. Ability to clear decoy as well as doing a good tanking job.

Design Reason: Fast Building Lurkers with Heavy Seaborne Damage , which makes it very easy to mass build very fast, which would large amount of ships and fleets with mass seabornes for mass damage.

Design Reason: Solid Tanking Ship, minor Shield and Armor to absorb minor hits without wasting supplies for Energetic Armor , which will be your bread and butter for defence which is "non-Ignorable" by any sort of weapon.

Design Reason: Designed to be multi usable as Defensive and Offensive

Defensive = long range sniper upon entering galaxy , weapon modules from 1-4 of 1 each is used for anti decoy if ever an enemy enters the galaxy , movement of 10 ensures keep enemy at long range

Offensive = Long range sniper upon entering galaxy , longest range and if set to " max attack power " or " Planet fortress " even with decoys in the way it will try to reach and destroy the target as soon as possible , movement of 10 ensures movility around enemy airspace

Do we have to have the design beforehand? Can we list the modules and the hull type that make up our favourite design? Cause players in the newer servers have no chance of winning since lvl 6 hull type compared with Gen-II just doesn't work.

Design reason: This ship would stick close to the target without killing itself with UCS And of course it is so cheap you can make literally hundreds of them and take them on every fight. XD And it's a good gate blocker too. It will stick close to the gate not allowing the enemies to get out of it. Just remember to put little supplies in them. XD

Design reason: Well since I'm not a maller I'm often short on funds lmao! And I need some quick ships to make to take into the front. :p And since there's a good enough person in my faction that supplies us with unlimited supplies then I made this an SB glass cannon... XD haha
This ship is designed to kill... XD It's might have also been proven inside the IBG killing pirates and Mayans alike. XD haha even though they are small they sure pack a punch lmao! And I've used T6~T10 SBs over the Pandoras so that I could pass through their pesky PPC defenses... If you put too little SBs in there like say lower than 7... you would be firing blanks on high def tanks with PPCs... ~__~ Oh and the added +crit on that is just icing on the cake plus the inherent crit rate of DDs. ^__^
As for defense I've given them Daeda and reflective plating... Daeda to further increase their stability which the DDs already have insane amount of.. you have to kill the whole stack to stop them from doing damage. XD And the reflective plating are for those times they get hit... They're not supposed to survive anyway if shot then why not take your enemy with you. XD And if you're lucky you could even Fire off a last shot before totally going down. lol!
Downside of this design are they are just one shot wonders lol! Well that is if they face an enemy that can take their damage that is. ;) If not they could even last longer XD

Design Reason:
This design is the actual blueprint of what I use in the game, and the reasons I use this are :
1. Seaborne type weapons are the best in killing stacks, the reason I use three level of them is to let me attack every round IF I attacked a weak stack which could be killed with only one level of the weapon.
2. I used nano armor to prevent the shield destroyed by dispersion damage, even it doesn't resist as much damage as Eos, but one module of it increase 400 armor (which is equal to 400 durability in receiving dispersion damage).
3. I put only 3 Energetic Armor because it's really draining supplies, but we need lot of supplies to attack, so if I receive massive damage, I kinda let the ship received them, and not resisting all of them with Energetic Armor.
4. Lastly, I put Nano Warehouse there so the ship could act as a depot ships in battle, so we can make a fleet that's full of this ships without worrying about the supplies, cause each ship has 2760 storage, 9 x 1000 ships = 24m supplies, that's enough for a battle.

Design Reason:
This ship can be used for these purposes :
1. As a wall, to block the movement of the ships which enter your galaxy, and leaving this ship as the only choice for them to attack.
Example of wall :

2. As a gatherer, to gather enemy fleet, this is used if we have offensive ships which have low movement but have great attack. The technique is, send a fleet full of this ship to the galaxy we want to attack but arrange it to arrive 5 minutes earlier than the offensive ships.
3. As an anti-decoy, will make decoy ships which target is set to 'Min Range' to attack this ship and be killed by the UCS installed in this ship. This method only works to decoy ships which have offensive module installed in it.
4. As a decoy, more specifically to make enemy fleet waste their attack to this ship. If the enemy use weapons with high packing round, this method could give us advantage for several rounds.

Design Reason:
I use this hull because it has quite high durability which is used to receive MORE damage from enemy fleet, more damage received means MORE damage reflected.
And the weapon I chose is 250mm Rapid Cannon because it has 0 packing round and has quite strong attack,
and more importantly it has 1 atk range, combined with 7 movement, this would make sure the ship will always stick nearly to enemy fleet.

Missile is the best decoy killer because some of them attack the whole fleet,

Design Reason: Sweeper, Decoy Drager.
This simple ship can kill any decoy fleet with a single hit from far away, and also can drag other decoys away from blocking your way.
Note: DO NOT use this as blockers.. they are not balistics, they are not decoys, they will run around leaving gaps in your defence setup, Wich is great when atacking, since they will open new gaps for you all the time.

Design Reason: My reason for designing and building that kind of blueprint is that it really makes your fleet indestructible and enemies arent able to deal big damage on your fleet. Even though this kind of blueprint cost lot of resources and takes much time to build it but this defensive ship is really worth building because it can withstand any types of enemy ship, you should use this ship rather than using a low level ship for defense and it will easily be destroyed and it will just waste your time and resources.
